Spring Farming Guide

Spring Farming Guide fallout 76

Springs are another crafting component in Fallout 76 that exists in high amounts but due to the fact that they are a key ingredient in lots of weapons, armour, mods and various other crafting items, you will find yourself needing lots of screws.

Rather than having to rely on picking these up naturally, you can check out some of the information below to help you farm springs as quickly as possible.

Where To Farm Springs In Fallout 76

Springs can be found in lots of machines and mechanical items. Searching for these items will often net you a lot of screws and gears at the same time. This makes farming springs a triple kill of junk for crafting. Check out the suggestions below for finding springs.

Camp McClintock

On top of being one of the few easy places to farm ballistic fibers, Camp McClintock is also a great place for you to get typewriter and clipboards, two items that contain springs among other useful crafting components. This method can net you over 100 springs per run.

Charleston Herald

You may be noticing a bit of a recurring trend here. Typewriters are a fantastic source of 3 common crafting components that you need. If you head to the charleston Herald building you are going to find a large collection of typewriters, clipboard and fans among other things that can also be broken down to yield springs. This video guide will show you through the entire building, showing you where all of the junk is that you can break down. It might not show up as much in this video, but expect to get some resistance from super mutants when you are exploring this area. Make sure to come equipped to handle them.

Charleston Capitol Building

This is slightly south-east from the Herald building. Head inside here to find lots of the same junk you found in the Herald building. Check out the same video from above to find the farming path to take inside to find all of the goods.
