This chapter is a fun chapter. If you are looking to power through it then you can probably complete this chapter in about 2 minutes. There are a lot of side missions and other things to do to keep you occupied if you go walking around. I will start by giving the quick guide.
Soviet Consulate Speed Run
Run straight ahead and go into the main building. Turn left and on the wall to your left is a clock. Change the time on the clock so it reads 12.
Head back outside and go up to the top of the building using the window cleaning lift. Once you get up, jump inside the lab room.
Run to the back of the lab room and you will see a large computer. Interact with it and it will take you inside the machine. Go over to the table and grab the box. Dump out the contents of the box and pick up the blue thing inside. Now you can interact with the phone. Don’t bother listening to what she says, just press 1 on the phone.
Exit the computer and grab the picture of the man off the wall at the wall opposite of the window you came in through. Use this picture on the scanner on the locked door. Head down the hallway and you will slip and crash into some rubbish. Use the trash dump drawer that is on the side of the wall to complete the level.
Other Things To Do
There are a lot of things going on in the opening area of the game. If you focus on the main story, you will pretty much miss everything as all of the side quests and stuff involve going over to the other side of the street. I’m not going to point out everything, but there are quite a few interesting quests. By simply investigating you will likely find most of it. Nothing is very well hidden in this game, so be adventurous.
There are 8 trophies or achievements that can be unlocked in this area of the game. It is possible to complete this chapter and miss all of the trophies in the area, so by doing some exploring, you will get some of them. Some of the trophies are missable, so i would suggest following the guide. I have included pictures wherever i can to make it easier. Here are all of the trophies in this chapter.
