When is Fortnite releasing on Android?

The game is already out on iOS. Why did they not release Fortnite at the same time? When do they plan in releasing it?

I believe they are waiting for the new version of android to release. Maybe Apple paid them to make it a timed exclusive too. The game should be released on Android eventually, but they do not have a release date yet. Epic have said that Fortnite will release on android in a few months which might make it drop in the summer but its no guarantee yet.
