Since the game is meant to be free to play, will that mean you do not need to have PlayStation Plus in order to play the game online? It’s not really going to be free to play is PS plus is required so I am going to assume it is. I don’t often play free to play games, so any advice would be helpful.

Apparently It is not going to require a PS Plus subscription once the game is officially free to play, but for the moment with it’s initial release the game will require a PS Plus subscription in order to play the early access. I guess we will have to wait a little longer before we find out exactly what is going to be the case though. The free to play version of Fortnight wont be getting released until 2018.
