I collected a lot of blu glow in the last level and when I started another mission all of it was gone. Is there a way to keep the blu glow so i can use it again in the next mission?

No, once you finish a level the blu glo is gone forever. It will not build up over time and cant be transferred anywhere. It is a type of currency that is used and saved within a single game mode only. Once the game mode is over all the blu glo you had in your inventory will be taken from you and fed to the sharks
