Disney Speedstorm Adds the Evil Queen as New Character
Disney Speedstorm continues to expand its roster with the arrival of the Evil Queen as the game’s second mid-season character. Known for her iconic role in Snow White, the Evil Queen enters the racetrack as a Trickster class Racer, emphasizing calculated moves and appearance to outplay opponents.
The Evil Queen’s playstyle revolves around unique status effects that disrupt rival Racers. Her regular ability lets her hand a poisonous apple to the first competitor she encounters, placing them in a ‘sleepy’ state that slows their top speed. Skilled players will find creative ways to use this to halt fast-approaching threats or break away from the pack.
Her charged ability introduces another layer of strategy by summoning the Magic Mirror. This mirror highlights the current lead Racer, reduces their top speed, and applies the same ‘sleepy’ state, giving those trailing an opportunity to catch up. The game offers counterplay, as the ‘sleepy’ effect can wear off either after a short duration or if the affected Racer collides with another, keeping races dynamic and engaging.
To celebrate the ongoing introduction of the Evil Queen—and in tandem with Disney’s upcoming live-action Snow White movie—players can take part in a special limited-time in-game event. Participants in this event will have the chance to race and earn Evil Queen Racer shards, making it possible to unlock her for their own collection while commemorating a legendary Disney villain’s debut on the Speedstorm circuit.
